Kurdistanmedia.org organisational overview

Kurdistanmedia.org is a global information organisation providing indispensable information related to Kurds and Kurdistan tailored for professionals in the business services, media, political and organizational decision makers. Since August 16th 2003 we have a reputation of speed, accuracy and freedom unbiased.

Although we are not profitable organisation our aim is to provide information on economical and business opportunities in Kurdistan. We supply news - text, graphics, video and pictures - to media organizations across the globe. We also provide customised news to businesses for customers interested in investing in Kurdish area.

Editorial Policy

Kurdistanmedia.org news operations are based on the organisation’s Values which stipulate that the integrity, independence and freedom from bias of Kurdistanmedia.org must be uphold at all times.

Kurdistanmedia.org has firm policies in place to ensure loyalty to these principles. We are committed to accurate and balanced reporting. Errors of fact are always promptly corrected and clearly published.

Kurdistanmedia.org is aiming to be the largest international Kurdish related news agency, reporting extensively from around the world on topics ranging from refugees to general and political news.

We are devoted to reporting the facts and in all situations avoid the use of controversial expressions. The only exception is when we are quoting someone directly or in indirect speech. We aim to report actions, identity and background objectively and pay particular attention to all our coverage in extremely sensitive region of Kurdistan.

We do not take sides and attempt to reflect in our stories, pictures and video the views of all sides. We are not for glorifying one side or another or of disseminating propaganda. Kurdistanmedia.org writers and journalists do not offer their own opinions or views.

Feedback

We welcome views on how we could improve our news coverage and all correspondence is read by our editors. Although we are not able to send individual replies we believe Kuridstanmedia.org can spot and correct errors faster with the help of sharp-eyed readers.
